STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Hess Toy Truck has released its latest addition to the My Plush Hess Truck toy series, the 2022 Choo Choo Train.

The Choo Choo Train is the third in Hess’ plush toy line and was designed for its youngest fans.

The soft and durable green fabric train lights up with just the push of a button and even makes sounds.

The plush toy is for sale exclusively at HessToyTruck.com for $34.99, which includes standard shipping – it even comes with batteries.

The Choo Choo Train is safe for children of all ages. It’s LED flashing lights are activated with a gentle squeeze and it will play two familiar sing-along songs – “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad” and “Coming ‘Round the Mountain” -- and will turn off on its own with an auto 15-minute shutoff nightlight; silent mode is also an option.

The plush toy bares a 2022 commemorative license plate and accompanying customizable keepsake train engineer license tag follows the Hess Toy Truck collectability tradition.

“Hess has long been renowned for quality, safety, durability, and innovation in play,” said Hess Toy Truck General Manager Justin Mayer. “The My Plush Hess Truck is the only plush toy available anywhere that features lights and sounds and is safety approved for all ages – even newborns.”

For those new to the Hess Toy Truck brand, the collectable tradition was started by Leon Hess in 1964 and continues today with millions of families.

For nearly 60 years, Hess has been the number one selling toy truck in the United States with a new model released each holiday season. For more than two decades, Hess has also offered a miniature toy collectable every summer. The My Plush Hess Truck will be released each Spring.

Launched in 2020, the first two releases in the My Plush Hess Truck series – 2020′s Fire Truck and 2021′s Cement Mixer – sold out.
