There were mop caps and curlers, ugly sweaters and suspenders, even a cat lady at the Elephant Room preschool class at Jefferson DeFrees Family Center on Wednesday.
The class was in its 100th day of school for the year and teacher Rylee Johnson thought it would be fun to have the students dress as 100-year-olds in celebration.
Some of the young ladies got into the fun wearing robes and slippers. One carried a plush kitten around with her to show she was the cat lady.
The young men had sweaters or suspenders and mustaches. As the day went on, some of the girls decided they wanted mustaches, too.
The mop cap was matched by a fedora (or was it a trilby) on one of the boys.
