Story: Maisy is a fun-loving boxer mix. She is just over one year old, so you can expect her to want plenty of play time. She has plenty of personality and isn’t shy to let you know it. She would do well in a fun-loving home as an only child.

Story: Cartridge, one of our “Office Supply” kittens, was rescued as a teensy orphan and found a family when she was still a kitten. After a series of truly unfortunate events, this gorgeous girl is back in the shelter, hoping for a second chance. She is a fantastic meeting organizer, especially if the meetings are about treats and delicious food. She can also organize “team building events”, as long as you bring the toys. She gets along with other cats, and is a very laid-back, gentle cat.

Meet: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday

Story: Eli is a handsome boy who loves to be loved. He is very well-mannered and will wait until his foster mom says "good morning" to start his day. Eli has the gift of gab and will sit on your lap and have a good chat. Sometimes he is so happy that he will give you love nibbles. His foster mom has taught him to walk on a leash. Eli isn’t a brave guy so please stay close to home in case something scares him. In the past he has had a UTI so his foster mom gives him special treats that help keep him happy and healthy. Adoption qualifications required.

With a little time and patience, we think Oreo will be a wonderful companion. Adoption qualifications required.

Story: This volunteer favorite is lively, upbeat, wiggly, cheerful, and optimistic. She never seems to have a bad day, and the volunteers adore spending time with her. Starlight loves to go for walks, appreciates treats, and is always happy to sample whatever snacks you have on hand, and she plays a great round of fetch and has learned to drop the ball at your feet. Starlight is an excellent cuddler and super loving. She knows look, touch, sit, drop it and let's go. She loves toys - stuffed ones are her favorite! This girl is a little bit goofy and a whole lot of sweet - she'll keep you laughing.

Story: This sweet girl is a gem! And she's just the right size and age with the right mix of energy. Volunteers say this darling girl is receptive, friendly, eager for affection, and always happy and bubbly. Alexa is easy to leash up and is always eager to get up and go. She's also very smart, and when offered snacks, she gladly demonstrates her skills at sit, down and stay. Her notes say she's house-trained, very food motivated, and will easily leap up and catch treats when tossed into the air. Alexa attends the gentle and dainty playgroup and shares her kennel with another mellow senior dog; she gets along just fine, but she would like to meet any resident dogs before going home to ensure it's a good fit.

Story: Ajax is a friendly and gentle boy who is as easy to walk as he is to leash. He's a curious pup that likes to smell all the smells while out for a walk. Ajax is very friendly, likes affection, has a soft mouth, and takes treats gently like a good boy. He loves spending time in the yard socializing and playing with the other dogs in playgroup. His notes say that he's housebroken and is so very smart! Ajax's volunteer friends describe this handsomeness as easy-going and very very playful. His vitality, energy, and playfulness will bring so much joy to your heart.

Story: Kylo is all things wonderful! He loves to play ball, sits and gives paw for treats, and has learned that affection from his people friends is pretty great! He shares his kennel with a pal, and they're absolutely hilarious together. They play hard, chasing each other around the play yard, wrestling, and generally having a blast. Kylo is young, energetic, and athletic, so an active home or one with a furry pal to rough house with would be ideal. This very good boy will sit patiently while you leash him up and is a dream to walk - no pulling and walks beside you. He has a sweet, calm demeanor and is an absolute joy to engage with.
